It may still be winter outside, but I brought a little spring indoors this week. Potted spring bulbs are a definite mood saver this year.

Sadly this isn’t my tree. It is a stunning riot of pink blooms on a neighbour’s front lawn. It totally stopped me in my tracks as I was walking Maxi this morning.
I love the colour coming back into my garden!
This flower was given to my husband five years ago when he moved offices. In spite of his proclaimed lack of a green thumb, it blooms reliably each spring on the windowsill in his office.
I love these first, hopeful signs of new life in my garden. Please ignore that I haven’t cleaned up yet. The ground is still pretty soft, so I am trying to stay off it to avoid compacting.

is a great early perennial. So nice to see some colour in March!
